When someone is sharing a struggle with you, ask "Do you want me to feel this with you or do you want me to fix it for you?"

A lot of time we want to fix whatever is hurting those we love, when sometimes all they need is us to feel it with them to give them the space and strength to fix it themselves.

A System is a process of steps you take in order regularly. Such as backing up your photos after a session. You have a system of steps to create a new folder, copy over photos, and import into Lightroom.

Systems help you keep a consistent experience from client to client. So when referrals come in, they will get the same amazing experience as your previous client who referred them.

Assess your current systems and define what roadblocks and friction points you are having in that system, then take the steps to resolve that friction.

Build a system that will support you on your worst day, not something that's built for your best days.
