Becoming more in tune with your emotions and empathy can allow you to have more emotional intuition during a lifestyle/documentary type photoshoot.
"You are the sum of the 5 people that you spend time with" - Jim Rohn
This can also include people you spend time with online too, not just those physically around you.
You are also built up of the media you consume.
Crap Bucket Mentality - When there is a group of crabs in a bucket, even though some of the crabs on the top can crawl out, the crabs on the bottom will hold on to those crabs to keep them in the bucket.
It's like the people you hang out with, if they are constantly trying to keep you on their level (i.e. partying all night, or coasting in your business) instead of encouraging you to grow and better yourself and your craft.
Failure is iterative, not a stopping point. You can be scared of failure, but just do it scared. Fear can be in the car but it can't drive.
Courage is not a lack of fear. Courage is having fear, but doing it anyway.
We often have fear or baggage around money, which limits how much we charge for our services. When you can overcome that baggage and mindset, it gives you freedom to become a better photographer, a better business owner, and a better person.
It takes a lot to identify that baggage, work on the baggage, and reframe that mindset so you don't pick up more baggage.
